How we make money

Our guides and tools are free. We keep them free in a few ways, and we want you to know exactly what they are:

• Quote requests and calls. When you ask for quotes or call a number on this site, we connect you with one participating licensed insurance agency. That agency pays us a flat advertising fee per request or qualified call. The fee doesn't depend on whether you buy, and it doesn't change the price you pay.
• Partner links. Some pages link to insurance marketplaces or trucking services (like factoring, ELDs or filing services). If you sign up through those links we may be paid a referral fee.
• Advertising. Some informational pages may show display ads.

Payments never determine what our guides say about coverage or requirements, and we don't rank or recommend specific insurers.
